Travel from central Santiago to Concha y Toro in a small group of up to 14. Walk the gardens, see 26 grape varieties, visit Old Pirque and Casillero del Diablo, then taste three wines plus four premium labels with cheese and a sommelier.

“Nunca se realizó la visita a la viña porque la noche anterior me avisaron que solo contaban con Somellier en portugués, sin opción de cambio hasta eventualmente una semana posterior, lo que no era factible. Se comprometieron a devolverme el dinero en 48 hrs y después de tres semanas todavía ni una respuesta. Realmente muy desagradable la experiencia además de haberme estafado al no devolverme el dinero pagado. Nadie responde a correos ni llamados. Tengan cuidado”

5.Farellones Park Resort Entry & Ski Classes

★★★★★★★★★★3.8 · 4 reviews · 8 hours · from $380

Travel from Santiago to Farellones and Colorado with a guide, ski equipment, and an introductory ski class included. You’ll have time for tubing, ziplining, spa facilities, mountain views, and snow play. Guides such as Hernan and Ricardo have provided friendly, helpful support, but weekend queues can be very long.

“Farellones park is ridiculously busy and the queues are around 2/3 hours long. The zip line we waited for 3 hours and then had to leave before we went on it as our ski lesson was booked at 2pm. Your ski lesson isn’t pre-booked so all the morning slots were booked up when we got there. The ski lesson and time on the slope was amazing. Also, private transfer in a comfortable car. I just wouldn’t return to this resort or if you are going to make sure it’s not on a Friday or a weekend. Our guide minded our clothes and shoes while we skied, we appreciated this as…”

★★★★★★★★★★5.0 · 3 reviews · 5 hours · from $190

Meet bilingual chef Andy at a Valparaiso market, choose fresh ingredients, then cook Chilean favorites such as empanadas, cazuela, ceviche, and pastel de choclo. The five-hour class includes a market visit, dessert, kitchen gear, and wine or Pisco Sour. Dietary choices are available, but the class is not suitable for vegans, vegetarians, or people with food allergies.

“We met Andy at the entrance to the market. It was fascinating to see and purchase all our fresh food for the day. He let us choose our meal and pick which things we wanted to make. After the market, which included picking up our freshly caught and fillet fish, we took an uber to the kitchen. Once inside we got to work. The view was amazing and such a beautiful place to learn about Chilean food. Andy was great with our kids as we let them do most of the work. After we were done, we sat outside on the deck to enjoy the things we made. We had…”
